Description of Event: Racevermont.com is branching out!! We are hosting our first ever Half Iron Man. The 1.2 Mile swim is a well protected two loop course in Lake Champlain at Shelburne Bay. The bike is a challenging 2.5 loop course- two real hills!! The 13.1 mile run is a relatively flat out-and-back enjoying breathtaking views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains of New York State.
Date/Time: June 20, 2010; 8:00 am
Distance: 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run
Cost: $175 individuals / $225 team of 2 or 3. This does not include a $10 USAT Non-Member day fee. Registration fee includes post-race lunch provided by Starry Night Cafe as well as a race t-shirt (wicking).  Registration for this event closes on June 3.

Where to Park: Beach Road, Shelburne (there will be parking attendants to guide you)
Refreshments: Registration fee includes a post-race lunch by Starry Night Cafe. Extra meal tickets are available in advance for $10/adults and $5/children 12 and under). Additional lunch tickets must be purchased by June 14.Additional refreshments are provided by Coca-Cola.
Awards: Men’s & Women’s Individual: 1st, 2nd & 3rd place

Women’s Team (39 and under): 1st place
Women’s Team (40 and over): 1st place
