| Description of Event: | What better way to enjoy autumn in Vermont than a run or walk through the fields of Shelburne Orchards? This is a wonderful family event as you either walk or run through the orchard, enjoying gorgeous views along the way. Pick your own apples after the race and take a bit of Vermont home with you. |

| Distance: | 2 or 4 mile run, or 2 mile walk |
| Cost: | $15/individual or $40/family if by registered by September 23, 2010. Add an additional $5 if registering after September 23. All family registrations must be made either via phone, mail, or in person (no online registration available for families).Children 12 and under are FREE with a registered adult. All PAID registrants receive a bag to pick your own apples following the race. Additional bags are available for $5 each. |

| Directions to Race: | Take Route 7 north or south until you are in the village of Shelburne, Vermont. There will be a light at the top of the hill either just after passing the Shelburne museum (if traveling south) or shortly after passing Vermont Teddy Bear (if traveling north). Turn west at this light onto Bostwick Road. Follow Bostwick Road approximately 2 miles. After the road turns sharply to the left, you’ll see Shelburne Orchards on your right. Turn right just past the orchard. Turn right into the orchard. |
| Where to Park: | Parking is available at Shelburne Orchards. |
| Refreshments: | Post race drinks provided by Coca-Cola. Pick-you-own apple bags provided by Shelburne Orchards. Bagels will also be provided. |
| Awards: | Men’s 1st, 2nd & 3rd place Women’s 1st, 2nd & 3rd placeRaffle prizes are awarded post-race to participants whose names are drawn randomly (must be present to win). |
