Description of Event: This is our first half marathon of the season.  Beginning in beautiful Shelburne, Vermont at Shelburne Health & Fitness at The Field House, you’ll run south through the farmlands of Shelburne and Charlotte before you head back through the village of Shelburne and out to picturesque Shelburne Farms.  Continue down to Shelburne Bay Park and return via the Ti Path (the path that was once used to transport the historic Ticonderoga to the Shelburne Museum) before ending your run at Shelburne Health & Fitness at the Field House.  The locker rooms will be available for showers following the race.  This race is limited to 250.  No race-day registrations will be accepted if this race fills beforehand, which is what we expect will happen. A post-race lunch will be provided by Starry Night Cafe.  Tickets can be purchased in advance for $10/adult, $5/child 12 and under.

Distance: 13.1 miles
Start Time: 8:00 am
Registration Time: 6:45 – 7:45 am.  RACE DAY REGISTRATION WILL OCCUR ONLY IF THIS EVENT IS NOT YET FULL.
Directions to Race: Take Route 7 north or south until you are in the village of Shelburne, Vermont.  From Route 7, turn west onto Harbor Road in the Village of Shelburne (you’ll be turning toward the Mobil Station).  Cross the railroad track and find Athletic Drive on the right hand side.  Turn onto Athletic Drive and follow to The Field House. 
Where to Park: Parking is available at Shelburne Health & Fitness at the Field House.  Follow directions above.
Cost: $30 if registered by 11:59 pm on Thursday, May 6; $35 beginning at 12:00 am, Friday, May 7.  Registration fee includes a post-race lunch provided by Starry Night Café.  Extra meal tickets are available for in advance for $10/adult and $5/child (age 12 and under).

Raffle prizes are awarded post-race to participants whose names are drawn randomly (must be present to win).
