RaceVermont.com Half Marathon

Description of Event:	This is our second of three half marathons this season and our first of two in beautiful Shelburne, Vermont.  Beginning at the quaint Shelburne Country Store, you’ll run south through the farmlands of Shelburne and Charlotte before you head back through the village of Shelburne and out to the picturesque Shelburne Farms.  Continue down to Shelburne Bay Park and return via the Ti Path (the path that was once used to transport the historic Ticonderoga to the Shelburne Museum) before ending your run at the Shelburne Town Hall.

Start Time:	8:00 am
Registration Time:	6:45 – 7:45 am.  Save $5 by registering by August 6, 2009.  Pre-register by calling (802) 985-3141 with your credit card info, or click here to register via active.com.
Directions to Race:	Take Route 7 north or south until you are in the village of Shelburne, Vermont.  Registration takes place in the Town Hall which is located in the old Shelburne Village School on the west side of Route 7 right in the center of Shelburne. You’ll see a parade green and the United Methodist Church across the street.
Where to Park:	Parking is available at the town hall (please DO NOT block the fire station) and behind the town hall at the Shelburne Train Station (drive down Harbor Road to enter the train station parking lot).  Please do not park on Church Street or in the church parking lots.
Cost:	$30 (save $5 by registering by August 6) which includes a post-race lunch provided by Starry Night Café.
Awards:	Men’s 1st, 2nd & 3rd place Women’s 1st, 2nd & 3rd placeRaffle prizes are awarded post-race to participants whose names are drawn randomly (must be present to win).
